I had no trouble with this weed knife. The long handle is great for convenience if your someone who doesn't like to get down on their hands. I had tackles small and big gaps with weed and it had done great. The knife is so strong that it picked up my slabs from the ground. So the knife is definitely not coming off the stick any time soon. I find this pulls the weed stems out which is ultimately what we want, to prevent weed regrowth. Hopefully this helps future customers in purchasing. This is a good tool to have and good value for money.

Absolutely terrible.! Broken extendable handle (doesn’t lock in extended, just pushes back to small so can’t use) DO NOT BUY complete waste of money

Found this really hard work and impossible to get in some of the gaps , a wire block paving cleaner works better in my opinion

I bought the Patio Weeder tool to complement the wire brush patio weeder I use. The brass wire head was wearing and I was only scrubbing the surface of the patio slabs. The Patio Weeder has a steel head shaped like the figure 7. The head is slim enough to reach into the spaces between the slaps. It can cut through the roots of the weeds, which slows recovery. This is very good against deep rooted dandelions that are persistent plants. The price is good value for money, it is well made and the cutting edges can be maintained by gentle sharpening. The extending handle locks well into place, but can be released easily for storage. A safety tip: I made a cover out of strong cardboard for the metal head. The blade is very sharp and should be handled carefully when using. Keep away from children.
