Ok, these are definitely good quality and they turned up quickly. I have no problem with the item personally. However, the dog wasn't overly impressed. That's not to say he hasn't chewed them up, but it takes days and he often buries chunks of them around the place - I'm not convinced it's because he wants them later. Clearly, dog treats are just like human treats, a very subjective matter. So if you're buying first time, see if there's a smaller bag (I should have taken my own advice...) because they last ages if the dog isn't too keen and despite v good packaging to keep them fresh, by the end of a few months they were v dry. I offered him the last one and he took it, then I found it in the middle of the living room floor with him sulking on his bed (bear in mind he's a greyhound. They are cats in dog suits LOL). Had I been able to buy (or thought to buy - it was a while back) a pack of say, 3 to start with, it would have been worth doing the choosing that way around. I was so desperate to find him gluten-free treats, however, I was going for most anything I could find which looked good quality.So please don't take this as a negative regarding the quality etc of this product, but of all the treats he's been offered, this is the only one he'll walk away from, even if there is nothing left in his treat box. And if you know hounds, you'll know that's not only rare, it's nigh on unheard of! I am, though, putting the rejection down to him being picky.

These treats are excellent i ordered the xs and are an excellent way to give rats as healthy-ish treats to keep their teeth down!

I got these to add some variety to the 'night time chew'. My dogs will eat virtually anything and are never affected by new food or treats. However, my older Border Collie was sick in the night both times I gave them these chews. The other dog was fine. It is extremely rare that either of them throw up so I immediately stopped using these chews. I do use others from the the same company, which have been fine, but this one is not for us. It may be that the chew broke up in fairly large bits when being chewed as I found several bits which I believe came from the chews when cleaning up. There was very little else that had been thrown up. It may be that my boy just did not take his time with this chew.

Pup loves these. They are his favourite out of the selection. Even though he's a big guy, he doesn't like the big hedgehogs. Crocodiles are his second favourite. He will spend ages, throwing them about and "catching" them before eating. Keeps him out of mischief for ages! I like that they are natural and not packed with sugar like other brands.

As soon as I mention 'toothbrush' to my now 15-week-old cocker spaniel puppy, he rushes to his bed (where I often feed him his treats) - in eager anticipation. He seems to love them. I limit him to 1 each day - normally when I want him to spend a short while on his own while I go shopping. He's had these treats since I acquired him 7 weeks ago, and has shown no signs yet of getting fed up with them. So I reckon I'll be buying more soon.

Love these for my hamster and gerbil! They love to chew on these and is perfectly safe for them, I love how much you get for the money and I have placed another order for the alligator pack. Had to give a lower rating as they do smell quite strong at first and even in the jar I keep them in, you can smell a little! However this isn’t a problem at all, after all they are dental dog chews! Definitely will be purchasing again when I run out!

Surprisingly, all three of my dogs enjoy these. I wasn’t sure what the size differences really looked like, so I have attached a picture of sizes XXS-XL for those who are also interested. I will be moving on to buy the value boxes as they work out significantly cheaper (£15.99 for 56 instead of £8.99 for 24), but I can already see these will become a daily staple. I only wish they were a little cheaper, as if you have larger dogs you will find yourself spending the same price for half the amount - this obviously accounts for the fact they are basically double the size, but you will get 12 days’ worth instead of 24, so I only really recommend them as good value for small dogs.

Although these dental chews are intended for dogs, they can alternatively be used to help Syrian Hamsters keep their teeth short and deter bar biting. I have a very hyperactive older female syrian hamster, as she is older her teeth are more brittle and prone to breaking. Especially as the bars are harsh on her teeth. Therefore, after some research I thought I would give these a try. She absolutely loves them! They have stopped her from breaking her teeth, she likes the taste of them and they keep her entertained! Would definitely recommend as an alternative for Syrian Hamster dental care.*Tip* If you have a cage with bars the whimzees can fit partially through. There is enough movement for the chew to move slightly without going all the way through. This keeps them entertained for longer and also stops them from trying to fit the whole chew in their pouch!
