CIVIVIStormridge C23041-3 Fixed Blade Green Micarta Nitro-V Steel Knife

This is a perfectly good knife. It is a fixed blade under 4 in which if you live in New York City is perfect as it adheres to local regulations. It has a good weight and feel to it and it's perfectly functional. I like the fact that they provide you with a sheath.

Shealth is too tight on mine and had to loosen with a heat gun. Other than that, great knife.

The title says it all. The Nitro-V steel is great as stainless steels go. It takes and holds a great edge and is fully stainless. Making it a great choice for wet weather.The blade design is excellent! It’s similar to the tamashii, but with more belly. It arrived razor-sharp. The full-tang construction is awesome and the handle has jimping in all the right places. The handles scales look and feel great and the cord lanyard is functional and looks nice.The included kydex sheath is pretty standard for a knife like this. But it is well made and the knife clicks securely into it. So no complaints there.All in all I’m very happy with this knife. I can’t think of anything I would change about it.

The Civivi Stormridge fixed blade is my favorite EDC blade to this day. Thin Nitro V blade slices through materials with ease and is a joy to use during food prep. G-10 handle scales are comfortable in the hand for carving or extended usage. Kydex sheath with a thumb ramp is well executed. Perfect for neck knife carry. The Stormridge knife makes the perfect companion blade to a large knife system or bushraft trinity.

Fit and finish of the knife is top notch, all the lines match and are uniform. It's extremely sharp right out of the box. The kydex sheath is tight with no rattle of play. Overall very happy with the purchase. It is a thin blade, best served for light utility or boning.

Small enough to fit in my pants pocket (using an Ulticlip). Takes a good edge. Deploys easily. I wouldn't want to baton-cut firewood with it, but it's done everything I've asked of it. So far, so good. Recommended.

It's a wonderfully sharp little blade, very light and thin. Has good geometry on the blade. The handle is very well shaped and fits well in the hand, with aggressive jimping. The sheath is tight but ought to loosen a bit with time as most do. I don't bother with the tassel or the belt clip, they got tossed back in the box with and an Ulticlip was mounted immediately.If I had any thing complain about it would be that it is a bit handle heavy, and the flare on the top of the sheath is not ideal for pocket carry.Overall it ought to be a great replacement for the Lackey XL (D2+humidity = corrosion) that it is replacing.
