DigitConvert Slide viewer Mobile Film Scanner 35mm, Slide scanner convert 35mm slides and negatives to digital photos using Your smartphone

I ordered this to convert old film slides and negatives. I must admit it is brilliant. As long as you have a good quality camera on your iPhone or android, then you will have a great quality picture. To do the film negatives, you have to download an app l, which is so easy to use.

This slide/negative viewer is made from plastic and feels a little bit flimsy when set up, especially with a mobile phone on top. It takes a little bit of trial and error to get the phone in the right position with the correct level of zoom to frame the slide or negative properly, especially when using the PicScan app as it seems to be very sensitive to pinch-to-zoom.I found that using my phone’s normal camera app in manual/pro mode made things much easier as I could lock the focus and had much better control over the zoom levels, although that did mean I had to export my scans to my PC to convert the negatives.The quality of the image depends on the quality of the phone camera, its optical zoom levels and the condition of the negatives or slides. It’s a cost-effective solution for scanning old photos for uploading to a cloud drive but probably not for making high quality photo prints.

It is brilliant to see photo from 50 years ago on my phone. Had a great laugh at Fashion which is the new fashion today.Very pleased.

I found this to be a great little device. During a clear out I found some old photo slides but had no way to transfer them to my phone or PC. This device solved the problem and I was able to transfer the slides easily to my phone. It was simple to set up and gave great results. Obviously the quality of the results is dependant on the quality of the camera on your phone but overall I was very pleased.

This is the equivalent of a slide viewer for photographers but, instead of sorting through positives on a projector, you are checking negatives on a phone! Any serious use is just not possible as it is just doesn't give the desired quality and the stand is not robust enough. It's easy to setup and the app is just as easy to use but the output quality is mediocre.

This arrived today and was very quickly assembled. It's made of plastic and wouldn't survive being sat on but that aside, it performs its function perfectly. I have 3 boxes of old family slides, which I wanted to digitise. This has performed the task admirably. It's very easy to set up and use and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to complete a similar task.
