Americana Swinger Charcoal Grill with One Side Table, Black

It's hard to put together if you're by yourself. I've bought several of these over the years. The adjustable racks almost made me toss this in the trash. Otherwise it's very good. You will be cursing putting this together

This is the second one of these I bought over the years the first one was great. Problem was that not both the wheel holes were drilled so I needed to disassemble so that i could drill it. second there was not all the hardware screwsand bolt to do the assembly. third the instruction sucked. And last but not leased the height of this BQ is about 5-6 in shorter than the last one we bought so you need to bend over ( no pun intended) to use it. (Must have something to do with were it was Made)

There were a few screws missing and it required some minor re-engineering, but it is far better than my 14yo model, (which I gave to my neighbor). Buying this grill was a fantastic buying decision, there is no better grill for steaks, burgers, and chicken than a square top charcoal grill.

My husband has had Meca grills for years and loves them.This one, however, has some kind of difficulty in getting the grillto rise and lower evenly. Also the side tray was extremelydifficult to attach. Cooks well though.

I know everyone is into gas grills these days, but since I'm an occassional griller, this does the trick. Besides, I like the taste the charcoal gives to the food, which gas does not. Assembly instructions not as specific as I would have liked, but got it together in a hour with no glitches. Cooks very nicely. One hint, don't overload the grill with charcoal, it doesn't take much to get a good heat going as we found out!

I needed to replace my old Meco grille that had worn out after many good years of service. It's one of the very few basic charcoal grilles that has an adjustable height adjustment. You usually won't find this grille in your local big box home improvement stores. I'm glad I can get this thru Amazon. This grille definitely is the one to get if you use charcoal.

The barbecue grill arrived damaged with two dents on either side of the grill top and bottom which were slammed together so hard they were almost impossible to separate. Parts numbered 16 (2) in the booklet not included in the box. Waste of time and effort.
