Been recommended this, and now I also recommend this!
Upgraded from a 45W LED after having this one recommended to me, and they were right! Huge difference, when I can afford it I am definitely buying one more of these. Be aware this doesn't have a timer installed, so if you are growing anything that needs less than 24hours of light, you want to pick up a timer as well.

Better hanging bracket would be awesome
amazing the amount of light this thing puts out. would be no trouble to grow 2 plants under.I combo'd the hydro 300 with a 50x50x100 grow tent and with the hanging kit provided, it would not have been high enough. this is how I worked around it.disassemble the hangit kit provided and put 2 carabiner's on 2 of the rope things (its late) now attach the carabiners in an X shape through a rope ratchet attached to the roof for maximum height.. You could also assemble it in a = shape for quarter inch less clearance... I was scratching my brain for about an hour before i came up with this. I need to smoke less!enjoy

perfect for any gardener
i recieved my order very quickly (next day), with standard delivery option selected at purchase. i bought this light as i had broken a previous one (own fault) so i could start my summer vegtables and get them and sprouting, as these lights proved very good results last year!! i also added some chillis this year which have taken well. As these liights dont produce too much heat i dont need to worry about over heating, but warm enough to keep some succulents and cacti under too. i recomend these to any grower wether amateur or professional, very cheap to run with excellent results!

Lights go dim after 5months.
Was working ok but now after only 5months of part time use two of the LEDs are way too dim,they are practically off!Not what I was expecting from marshydro! VERY DISAPPOINTED

Nice light box, but fan is a little noisy
Nice light, gives off a great spectrum for growing. Be careful where you site it though, as the fan runs continually and can be quite noisy. Not sure what the running cost implication is. Overall happy with porchase

Great product.
Upgraded from a 45w....Not very noisy, brilliant spectrum, lightweight but not lacking in quality. If your wondering about costs..... It's roughly £0.83 a day on a 18-6 cycle. Definitely buying one more after my first is finished!Good job mars hydro :) bang for your buck!
